We’re a Houston crew, not a franchise flyer. The people who show up at your door live in this city, drive its highways, and know what August does to a condenser coil. Every tech on this team has been background-checked, uniformed, and trained to service nine major brands including Carrier, Trane, Lennox, Goodman, Rheem, York, Daikin, Bryant, and American Standard. What unites us is simpler than a mission statement: we put the price in writing before we touch a unit, and we stand behind the repair for a full year. That’s The Garrison Standard, and it’s not optional.

Our People
Daniel R. – Lead Service Technician
Daniel has been turning wrenches on Houston AC systems for 14 years, the last six spent focused on residential diagnostics and repair. He’s EPA-certified for refrigerant handling and is the guy we send when three other companies have already guessed wrong. His specialty is finding intermittent electrical faults, the kind that trip a breaker once a month and leave a family sweating at 4 a.m. When he’s not chasing a short in a furnace control board, Daniel rebuilds old motorcycles in his garage. He says the diagnostic patience transfers over. We believe him.
Marcus T. – Senior Installer
Marcus has installed heat pump systems across the greater Houston area for just over a decade. He’s factory-trained on Trane, Lennox, and Daikin equipment, and he handles the full scope: load calculations, duct transitions, line sets, and the final startup sequence that proves the system runs right. Marcus is meticulous about airflow. He’ll measure static pressure on every install because he says a system that moves air poorly is just an expensive fan. Off the clock, he coaches youth baseball in Spring Branch and keeps a garden that somehow survives July.
Elena V. – Service Coordinator
Elena is the voice on the phone at 2 p.m. and, when you need it, 2 a.m. She has worked in Houston HVAC dispatch for eight years and knows the difference between a no-cool call in July and a maintenance request in October. Elena builds the schedule, confirms the window, and makes sure the technician knows exactly what they’re walking into before they ring the bell. When a furnace goes out on a cold January night, she’s the one figuring out who’s closest and how fast they can get there. Elena is fluent in Spanish and English, which means half of Houston gets clear answers in the language they prefer. She keeps a running list of the best taco trucks in the East End, and she will share it if you ask nicely.
Andre P. – Apprentice Technician
Andre joined the team two years ago after finishing a residential HVAC program at Houston Community College. He rides with our senior techs on every call type we handle: furnace repair, heat pump installation, AC diagnostics, and the occasional horrifying discovery under a crawlspace. Andre is tested on refrigerant recovery, electrical safety, and system airflow, and he’s working toward full NATE certification. He’s the guy double-checking the job site is clean before we pull out of the driveway, which matters to him personally because his grandmother’s house is in our service area. Not a joke. She absolutely watches to see if he sweeps.
One Standard, Every Job
Dalton Heating & Air Houston is part of the Garrison Partners network, which means every one of our techs operates under The Garrison Code. Arrive inside the stated window. Put the price in writing before any work begins. Do the job by the book. Leave the site clean. Stand behind the work for a full year. That fifth point isn’t a slogan. If a repair fails within the 365-day Done Right Promise window, Marco sends someone back at no charge. No re-diagnosis fee, no debate. Daniel, Marcus, Elena, and Andre all know the rule: the job isn’t finished until it holds. That’s how this office has operated since it opened, and it’s why our technicians don’t have to sell you anything. They just have to fix it right the first time.
